About Dr. Ashley Nahornick

Founder & Principal, PathEd Learning

I’m an education strategist, curriculum designer, and grant consultant based in Toronto, with over 13 years of experience supporting mission-driven organizations across postsecondary, K–12, nonprofit, and public-sector settings.

I bring both classroom insight and systems-level strategy to every project. As a former Lecturer in Education and a collaborator on initiatives with the Toronto District School Board, I understand the real challenges educators face — and how to design solutions that work in practice, not just on paper.

Before founding PathEd Learning, I served as the Educational Development Specialist at York University’s Faculty of Science, where I supported more than 170 instructors across five departments in redesigning curriculum, strengthening experiential learning, and embedding equity into teaching.

At the heart of my work is a simple goal: to help teams turn bold ideas into clear, fundable, and inclusive educational programs. I move fast, think deeply, and work collaboratively — always centering learners and community needs.
